You are invited to spend thirty days learning to recognize the Shepherd’s voice, respond to His grace in ordinary life, and bring the invitation to Favored Daughters before Him in prayer..
These thirty days are not about stepping away from your ordinary responsibilities. They are about becoming more attentive to Christ within them. Through prayer, reflection, and the practice of discernment, you will learn to notice what is taking place within you, recognize how the Lord may be leading you, and respond to His grace with greater freedom.
Throughout these thirty days, you will also hold one particular question before Him:
Is Christ inviting me to continue toward Favored Daughters at this time?
These thirty days are entrusted to Our Lady of Ransom, patroness of Favored Daughters.
As you bring this invitation before the Lord, ask for her maternal intercession — that, like Mary, you may listen with an open heart, receive what God gives, and respond to Him freely and faithfully.
Our Lady of Ransom, pray for us.
Notice where fear, attachments, or self-reliance may interfere with your freedom to respond to God, and practice surrendering these to Him.
Bring the movements of your heart into prayer and learn to respond to God's grace in the ordinary circumstances of your day.
Practice asking, "Lord, what are You inviting me to in this moment?" and responding with greater trust and freedom.
Living as a daughter of God means learning to walk in step with the One who loves you.
Grow in recognizing the movements that draw you toward greater faith, hope, and love — and those that pull you away from the Lord.
The Spiritual Discernment Prayer Journal will guide your prayer and reflection throughout the thirty days.
Its practices will help you become more attentive to interior movements, grow in recognizing spiritual consolation and desolation, and discern how to respond faithfully to God in everyday situations and significant decisions.
The journal is included with your 30-Day Discernment Journey.
These thirty days are not about convincing yourself to join Favored Daughters or trying to arrive at a particular answer. You are bringing a concrete invitation before the Lord and asking for the grace to recognize and respond freely to His leading.
At the end of the thirty days, the question remains simple:
Is Christ inviting me to continue to the next step in The Way of Invitation?
If you have sufficient clarity and peace to continue, your next step is to apply. If you discern that this is not where the Lord is leading you at this time, the thirty days have still served their purpose: helping you listen, discern, and respond to Him as His daughter.
These thirty days were a threshold. If something within you has grown quieter, steadier, and more attentive to His voice — and if the question of Favored Daughters has not been answered but opened — the next step is already waiting for you.
The Way of Invitation is where that question is explored and brought to rest.
Come and see. — John 1:39
