Beloved Sister, in the heart of every woman, hope lives as a longing for goodness, even when the future feels uncertain. And yet, many faithful Catholic women quietly carry the ache of feeling unloved, unwanted, abandoned, or alone.

We ask the deepest questions of the heart—Who am I? Why does this pain remain? Where can I find true peace?

The answer is not out of reach. It's found in Jesus Christ, who reveals the Father’s love and restores right order to the heart.

A Journey of Restoration in Right Order

The Way of Invitation

This is a formal invitation to consider a structured, guided Catholic coaching experience within the Favored Daughters Community. The pages ahead will show you clearly what is being offered, what participation asks of you, and the path by which women discern whether God is calling them here.

This is not a sales page. It is an invitation to come and see—to understand what lies ahead before bringing this particular invitation to prayer.

We follow Christ’s own pattern: “Come, and you will see.” (John 1:39, NABRE)
Never pressured. Always invitational. Always clear.

We follow The Way of Invitation—a process of mutual discernment ordered toward a prayerful response made with clarity and peace. Joining is not impulsive or transactional; each woman is given the time and space to discern whether God is calling her here.

The question before each woman is simple: Is Christ inviting me to take this particular step toward deeper restoration, identity, and right order?

His Heart, His Mind, His Daughter® is a transformational Catholic coaching course within the Favored Daughters Community, created for faithful Catholic women who carry wounds from family life and desire to live more fully from their identity as beloved daughters of God.

This journey is for you if:

  • You carry the pain of not having received the love, care, protection, guidance, or acceptance you needed, and those experiences still affect how you see yourself or relate to others.

  • You learned to care for yourself, hide your needs, become strong, or rely primarily upon yourself—and now find it difficult to trust, receive love, ask for help, or believe that your needs matter.

  • You know that through Baptism you are a beloved daughter of God, yet find it difficult at times to live from that truth in ordinary life. Your experiences of human love may even make it difficult to trust and receive the fatherly goodness of God.

  • You recognize fear, false beliefs, self-reliance, comparison, perfectionism, the need for approval, or other familiar ways of protecting yourself that can interfere with your freedom to love and live faithfully.

  • You desire greater freedom to receive love, give love, and live from your God-given dignity within your vocation and relationships.

  • You desire Christ-centered community where women encourage one another in faith, speak truth with love, respect one another’s dignity and freedom, and help one another grow in greater fidelity to Christ.

Who This Journey Is  For

"God does not ask for perfection, but for trust.
He invites you to ask, to wait, and to listen—to discern with Him, not apart from Him. You are His daughter."
—Crystal Hernandez

Our signature course, His Heart, His Mind, His Daughter®, follows a deliberate progression:

  • You begin by receiving more deeply the truth of who you are in Christ.
  • You learn to recognize what keeps you from living freely from that truth and to cooperate with God’s grace.
  • You grow in living as a beloved daughter within your relationships, vocation, and the communion of the Church.

This is not self-improvement. Your identity is not something you create or achieve. Through Baptism, you have already received new life in Christ and have been made a beloved daughter of the Father.

Through Catholic teaching, prayer, reflection, coaching, and Christian community, you are supported as you learn to receive this truth more deeply and live from it in ordinary life. Christ is the source of every grace of healing, restoration, and true freedom.

The Journey You’ll Take:
Beholding → Right Order → Communion & Mission

Behold His Love — Identity Given

You begin by learning to see again. Through Scripture and the wisdom of the Church, you learn to recognize false beliefs about God, yourself, and your dignity that may have taken root through painful experiences. You begin to distinguish what belongs to your history from the new life you have received in Christ.

As you learn to recognize the voice of Christ, the Good Shepherd, you are invited to receive His truth with greater trust and allow it to shape how you see yourself, others, and God.

Taking Your Place as a Daughter of God — Communion & Mission
As you learn to live more fully from your identity as a beloved daughter, that truth begins to shape how you love, relate, serve, and live the particular vocation and responsibilities God has entrusted to you.

Through prayer, the sacramental life of the Church, and relationships rooted in Christian charity, you are encouraged to grow in faith, hope, and love—receiving from others without losing your freedom, giving of yourself without denying your dignity, and learning to live in greater communion with God and others.

In Favored Daughters, women practice listening well, speaking truth with love, respecting one another’s dignity and freedom, and encouraging one another toward greater fidelity to Christ. The community is never the destination; whatever good is received here is meant to lead you more deeply toward Christ, His Church, and the life He has entrusted to you.

3

module

Living in Right Order — Cooperation with Grace
With your identity grounded more deeply in Christ, you begin to recognize the ways fear, self-reliance, false beliefs, and familiar patterns of self-protection can interfere with your freedom to love, trust, receive, and respond to God.

Here, the truth you are receiving begins to enter more concretely into ordinary life—your thoughts, choices, relationships, responsibilities, and responses.
You practice turning away from striving and toward cooperation with grace, learning to receive the truth even when it challenges familiar ways of thinking or living and to respond with greater freedom to what God asks of you.

Our life with one another begins in Christ. As He draws us more deeply to Himself and into the love of the Father, we become freer to receive and give love within the relationships God has entrusted to us.

Within Favored Daughters, spiritual friendship provides a place to practice this kind of communion. Women learn to listen well, speak truth with love, encourage one another in faith, and respect the dignity and freedom of each person.

The community is never an end in itself. Whatever good is received here is meant to strengthen you to live more faithfully within the life of the Church and within your own vocation and relationships.

We grow in communion:

1. With the Father through Christ, receiving more deeply His fatherly goodness and learning to respond to Him with trust.

2. With Christ and His Church, remaining close to Him through prayer, the Sacraments, and the truth He has entrusted to His Church.

3. With one another, practicing relationships marked by charity, honesty, respect, generosity, and the dignity proper to daughters of God.

Communion, Learning
to Live as Daughters Together

Here's What You'll Receive:

Favored Daughters asks for active, responsible participation. You are not expected to perform, prove yourself, or disclose more than is appropriate. You are invited to participate in a way that respects both your own dignity and the women with whom you are sharing the experience.

You are invited to:

  • participate regularly
  • share brief reflections related to the week’s focus
  • ask questions when you need clarification
  • listen attentively and encourage others
  • remain present enough to contribute to the shared experience

You are not expected to:

  • share your full story
  • disclose sensitive personal details
  • give advice or coach other women
  • take responsibility for another woman’s needs or progress
  • engage beyond your capacity or appropriate boundaries

This is not about performing. Faithful participation does not mean being constantly present or having something to contribute every time. Quiet periods are normal, and appropriate boundaries are respected.

Because Favored Daughters is a shared coaching experience, however, your presence matters. If circumstances require you to step away for an extended period, you are simply asked to communicate rather than disappear from the community.

Your Role in the Community

This is a group-based coaching experience. Live gatherings occur on a predictable schedule and provide space for:

  • clarification
  • shared reflection
  • application of the week’s teaching to ordinary life

These gatherings are not therapy sessions or personal processing spaces, a support group, or spiritual direction.

You are invited to take an active role in your own growth: bringing questions, practicing what you are learning, and cooperating with God’s grace within the circumstances of your life. The coaching and community provide guidance, encouragement, and a place to work through the practical application of the teaching.

Private, ongoing 1:1 access is not included. Questions are brought into shared spaces when appropriate so that the whole group can benefit.

If you desire individualized, private coaching, that is offered separately.

Monday: One pre-recorded lesson is released inside the course.
  • One primary truth is presented.
  • One concrete focus for practice is given.

During the week:

You bring that truth into prayer and daily life.
  • Reflection is simple and directed.
  • You practice what you are learning within your ordinary choices, relationships, and responsibilities.
  • Regular participation in the community is expected as part of the coaching experience. Brief quiet periods are normal; extended absences should be communicated.

This course is not self-paced. You are guided and supported through a structured, intentional process rather than left to work through the material alone.

Consistency matters more than intensity. You are not being asked to perform or master everything at once, but to participate faithfully and cooperate with the grace God gives you along the way.

This course follows a simple, predictable weekly plan designed to help you bring what you are learning into ordinary life. Regular participation gives you the opportunity to receive the teaching, reflect upon it, put it into practice, and bring questions into the shared coaching spaces.

Live Interaction

How We Walk Together

The Process:
 An Invitation to Mutual Discernment

Because Favored Daughters is built on trust, freedom, and right order, decisions are not rushed. You are given time and space to bring this invitation before the Lord, notice what is happening within you, and discern how He is leading you. The same care is taken on the Community side.

The purpose is not simply to arrive at a “yes,” but to allow both you and Favored Daughters to discern whether this is the right place and time for you to enter. If the answer is yes, it should be prayerful, peaceful, and freely chosen.

Discern → Begin with the 30-Day Discernment Journey.

After reading about Favored Daughters and understanding what you are being invited to consider, you spend thirty days bringing this particular invitation before God in prayer. These thirty days are entrusted to Our Lady of Ransom, patroness of Favored Daughters, asking her maternal intercession as you seek to follow her Son freely and faithfully.

The Journey helps you practice the attentive, receptive posture of a daughter—learning to recognize the voice of Christ, notice movements of consolation and desolation, and respond to God with greater trust and freedom.

Whether discernment is already familiar to you or entirely new, these thirty days are not about proving your readiness. They give you time to discern this particular invitation before taking another step.

Apply
→ If, after completing the Journey, you have sufficient clarity and peace to continue, you are invited to submit a simple application. The application provides the information needed to begin mutual discernment. You are not expected to tell your entire story or disclose sensitive personal details.

Interview → If the application indicates that Favored Daughters may be a good fit, you will be invited to a personal conversation. This is an opportunity to talk about what you are seeking, what participation in the Community involves, and any questions that remain. The financial commitment is also discussed clearly during this conversation, so that you have all the information you need before making a decision.

The conversation also allows Favored Daughters to discern whether the Community and its coaching structure can appropriately serve you at this time.

The interview is not therapy, spiritual direction, or a judgment of your worth or spiritual life. It is a conversation for clarity and mutual discernment.

Accept → You now know what participation entails—including the financial commitment. You are then encouraged to take another prayerful pause before giving your final answer by bringing the complete invitation back before God. If, after the interview, the discernment is mutual, you will receive a formal invitation to join Favored Daughters. If you choose to accept, your “yes” can be given with clarity, freedom, and peace.

Complete Enrollment → Once you accept the invitation, you complete enrollment and make the financial commitment discussed during your interview.

Enter Community – Once enrollment is complete, you enter Favored Daughters and begin the structured coaching experience of His Heart, His Mind, His Daughter®, together with the coaching, practices, and spiritual friendship described on this page.

Your belonging as a daughter does not begin here, nor does Favored Daughters become the source of your restoration. You enter the Community already belonging to Christ and His Church, with the opportunity to grow in living more fully from the identity and life you have received in Him.

BEGIN THE 30-DAY DISCERNMENT JOURNEY

My understanding of spiritual daughterhood is both personal and professional.

I grew up in foster care carrying wounds of abandonment and the painful belief that I was unloved and unwanted. At seventeen, through an encounter with Christ, I came to know something of the fatherly goodness of God and to understand that I had been intentionally created, deeply known, and loved.

That encounter did not erase my history or immediately resolve everything that had been shaped by it. Over time, through prayer, the Sacraments, and the teaching of the Church, Christ continued to show me what it meant to receive and live more fully from my identity as a beloved daughter of the Father.

My professional work has also brought me alongside women and families carrying significant relational wounds. For seventeen years, I served as a Marriage and Family Therapist, followed by several years in nonprofit executive leadership serving vulnerable women and children. Today, as a Catholic transformational coach and founder of the Favored Daughters Community, I bring that experience into a distinctly Catholic coaching framework.

My role here is to provide sound teaching, structured coaching, practical guidance, and a community in which you can practice what you are learning. Healing is God's work. The truth of your daughterhood is His gift. Favored Daughters exists to support you as you receive that truth more deeply, cooperate with grace, and learn to live from it in ordinary life.

From Orphanhood to Living as a Daughter

begin the 30-day discernment journey →

Discernment requires us to place before God the thing being discerned. You have now seen what Favored Daughters offers, what participation asks of you, and the kind of community you are being invited to consider. You do not need to decide today whether you belong here.

The first step is to bring this particular invitation before God.

Every woman who desires to continue begins with the 30-Day Discernment Journey. For thirty days, you will be given a simple structure for prayer, reflection, and discernment as you learn to listen more attentively for the voice of Christ, notice what is taking place within you, and bring the question of Favored Daughters before the Lord.

The Journey is not a test of your readiness, nor does completing it commit you to applying. It is time set apart to approach God as His daughter and discern with greater clarity, freedom, and peace how He is leading you.
If, at the end of those thirty days, you have sufficient clarity and peace to continue,
The Way of Invitation will remain open before you with the next step: Apply.
